Friends

	Celeste is our main character, and the only person I know of to have ever gotten an F+ in a math class. Or any class, for that matter. -_-;; She can transform into Legendary Magical Angel Princess Celeste with her magical rolling pin. She loves being a magical girl and has no problems accepting the various weird things that happen all the time.
	Yoake is a student at Random Nameless High School, and Celeste's friend. She's overly attached to school, homework, and calculus. She's also in denial about the whole magical girl thing. Deep denial. Lives in her own little world that doesn't involve magic, evil cheerleaders, or any of that insanity. If it doesn't make sense, it never happened.
	The Parrot of Doom is Celeste's mascot/magical helper. His real name is "Cutey Sparkle Feather," given to him by a five-year-old magical girl who was his first "assignment." Don't call him that, though.
	Ikara is a former evil villain who got fired by Zai when she messed up an important assignment. She decided to join the "Forces of Good" to get back at Zai, and now attends Random Nameless High School with Celeste and Yoake. Later, she was given her own magic wand by the Mysterious Faceless Winged Person, and can now transform into Legendary Magical Star Princess Ikara. As a former evil villain, she can usually see through the villain's plan fairly easily, unlike most magical girls, and her attacks are neither cute, fuzzy, nor pink.
	The Mysterious Faceless Winged Person gave Ikara her magic wand, and claims to be the source of Celeste's powers. She won't tell Celeste and Ikara her name, because, well, then she wouldn't be mysterious, would she? She appears to Celeste and Ikara as a small hologram, and is apparently unable to completely manifest in the real world.

Enemies

	Zai is an evil villain. He's my brother's alter ego's alter ego's alter ego...I think...and his hair is fun to draw. ^_^ He doesn't really have a clue what he's doing, but he figures if he attacks the high school enough, something will happen eventually. He originally targeted Random Nameless High School as a source of stress and angst for his Evil Scheme, but now he just wants to beat Celeste.
	Ann Achronism is an evil minion that Zai got from the Evil Minion Rental Agency cheap, because she's "defective." She talks in incomprehensible pseudo-medieval language that's very fun to write. Her name is a pun on the word "anachronism," meaning "something out of its proper time." That's her, all right.
	Miriko works at the Evil Minion Rental Agency, as a phone operator or something like that. She thinks Zai's an idiot, and wouldn't let him rent any minions except for Ann, because she's defective, since Zai has such a bad record with minions.

Others

The Cheerleaders appeared in a few comics when Ikara was trying to take over their minds and make them Evil Minions. This failed because cheerleaders don't have any minds to take over, and because they refused to work for someone with Ikara's fashion sense (or lack thereof).

The Annoying Preppy Rose Guy is, well, an annoying preppy guy who develops a crush on Yoake for no apparent reason. He tries to get her to like him (unsuccessfully) by trying out for a role in the school play, Hamlet, and then kidnapping one of the actresses and taking Ophelia's role because Yoake had been cast as Hamlet. He's vaguely based on this guy that asked me out once. (At the time, I didn't know this guy at all, don't think I even knew his name, and he was acting like an idiot. We still think it was for a bet or something. Really, I don't take everyone who asks me out and make fun of them on the internet...)
